July 2023 Closing - Represented the Lloyd, Smith, and Potts families in their sale of just under $13 million of vacant land along Wendell Boulevard and US 264/64, in Wendell, NC to Oppidan Development, slated for a $348 million mixed-use development. Overall land purchase was over $26 million and involved several other landowners. All costs of rezoning and developmental approvals were borne by the buyers.

August 2020 Closing – Represented the Trustees of Wake Technical Community College in their $10.6 million purchase of 106 acres of vacant land, (22 +/- acres of which was in floodplain) along US Highway 264/64 and Rolesville Road. The property is currently being developed as the Wake Tech East Campus.

Merritt Capital Business Park

January 2020 Closing – Represented the Lewis family in their $3,458,500 sale of 74.175 acres of vacant land along Ligon Mill Road in Wake Forest, NC to Merritt Properties, currently under development as Merritt Capital Business Park. Prior to my listing, the property had been for sale as a residential site, in and out of several contracts. After a discussion with Wake Forest Town Planners and the Economic Development team, it was determined that the town would support rezoning for industrial use. Along with a local attorney, I shepherded the property through the rezoning process, which was the first request to the Town for a residential to industrial rezoning in more than 25 years. I presented the land to Merritt Properties, who soon went under contract and closed after lengthy negotiations with the North Carolina Department of Transportation regarding street access.
